s d RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN
= z -n ACQUISITION CONTRACT TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO
¢ a t7 THE CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN

WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had the parcel
d§bribed herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,
and
7 7271 WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel
it "yin conjunction with construction of the Eastside Riverfront
ti Heusing Project .
¢ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CilY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcel
1ryeinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
Ilwa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hiviric County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and
C1y Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in
bah-alf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to
consummate the agreement to purchase the property from the owners
thereof, and the deed for the conveyance of the same are also
accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay
for the property and the incidental expenses necessary to the
consummation of the sale from City funds .

Parcel No. 8913-25-137-014
Total Acquisition - $54, 000 . 00
Incidental Costs - Not to exceed $15, 000 . 00
Original Plat Waterloo East Lot 10 Block 18, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of April, 2006.
