RESOLUTION NO. 2006-382
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF GRACE
ELLIOTT FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "R-
3, R-P" PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT FOR
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 3216
THISTLEDOWN DRIVE AND 5309-5311 BLUE BONNET
DRIVE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A 26' X
62' GARAGE, A 26' X 26' GARAGE AND TWO SMALL
SHEDS FOR THE SENIOR HOUSING COMPLEX IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "R-3, R-P"
Planned Residence District for property generally located at 3216
Thistledown Drive and 5309-5311 Blue Bonnet Drive for the purpose
of constructing a 26' x 62' garage, a 26' x 26' garage and two
small sheds for the senior housing complex, legally described as
follows :
Timothy Ridge Addition, Lot 1, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 8, 2006, at 5 : 30
p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "R-3, R-
P" Planned Residence District for property generally located at
3216 Thistledown Drive and 5309-5311 Blue Bonnet Drive for the
purpose of constructing a 26' x 62' garage, a 26' x 26' garage
and two small sheds for the senior housing complex, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of May, 2006 .
