RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE REPAIR OF VARI JS
SIDEWALKS AND/OR PORTIONS THEREOF IN THE C L'Y
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, UNDER THE SIDES ,K
INSPECTION AND REPAIR PROGRAM - ZONE 6 .
• . 'LEE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF Wi ERLOO, IOWA,
that- after public hearing on May 15, 2006, notic( having been
gen as required by law, it is deemed necessary nd advisable
t the sidewalks and/or portions of sidewalks for •.n area known
as Zone 6 , be improved by repairing the same .
- -' The repair of said improvement will be the responsibility of
hi `ewner of property abutting the sidewalk so designated by the
'-;i.` y Engineer as needing repair.

Said work shall be completed by the owner of the property
kitting said improvement by June 30, 2006, or with evidence of a
contract to have the work completed by a bonded contractor,
to_ ether with a 25 down payment . The City of Waterloo will
contract any work not completed by the property owner, and an
accurate itemized account of all the costs and expenses thereof
shall be made to this Council upon completion of said work. The
cost and expense to the City of Waterloo for making said
improvement will be assessed, as provided by law, as a special
tax against all property abutting sidewalks and/or portions
thereof so improved.
