RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF GRACE REFORMED
CHURCH FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE,

s J WHEREAS, Grace Reformed Church is having outdoor worship
J services at Byrnes Park, including a live band and P.A. system,

c WHEREAS, said outdoor worship service activity exceeds the
ljry..ts of the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Grace Reformed Church has made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No.
309 , on June 11, 2006 and August 13, 2006, from 8 : 00 a.m. to
12 D0 noon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Grace Reformed Church for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, in conjunction
with outdoor worship services at Byrnes Park, on June 11, 2006 and
Rcgust 13, 2006, from 8 : 00 a.m. to 12 : 00 noon, be and the same
hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, 2006.
