o s RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF ANTIOCH
BAPTIST CHURCH FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
v n ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

s J WHEREAS, Antioch Baptist Church is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on June 12, 2006 from 9: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m.
--.conjunction with a Basketball Tournament sponsored by the Iowa
Bist Convention to be held at Ferguson Field, including music

andazict PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Cc finance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
- WHEREAS, said Antioch Baptist Church has made formal
application for a variance effective June 12, 2006 from 9: 00 a.m.
to`:5: 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WTERLOO, IOWA that the request of Antioch Baptist Church for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on June 12, 2006
from 9: 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with a Basketball
Tournament sponsored by the Iowa Baptist Convention to be held at
Ferguson Field, including music and PA system, be and the same
hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June, 2006.
