RESOLUTION NO. 2006-509
RESOLUTION APPROVING MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "S-1" SHOPPING DISTRICT FOR
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NEAR THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF RIDGEWAY AVENUE AND KIMBALL AVENUE
FOR THE LOCATION OF AN 8' X 14' TEMPORARY
TRAILER.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a Minor Site Plan Amendment to the "S-
1" Shopping District for property generally located near the
northwest corner of Ridgeway Avenue and Kimball Avenue for the
location of an 8' x 14' temporary trailer, legally described as
follows :
Unplatted Waterloo West part of the Southeast of the
Southeast Section 34 Township 89 Range 13 commencing at
a point 33 feet North and 33 feet West of the Southeast
corner of Section 34, thence Northerly 496. 31 feet,
thence West perpendicular to Kimball Avenue 300 feet,
thence South along the East line of Bellaire Road
496. 31 feet, thence East to the point of beginning
except Highway Book 551 Page 322, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 5, 2006, at 5: 30
p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned Minor Site Plan
Amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said Minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Minor Site Plan Amendment to the
"S-1" Shopping District for property generally located near the
northwest corner of Ridgeway Avenue and Kimball Avenue for the
location of an 8' x 14' temporary trailer, be and the same is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June, 2006, and approved
by the Mayor this 14th day of June, 2006.
