RESOLUTION NO. 2006-525 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF STAINLESS PLUS, INC. FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "C-1, C-Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 3533 CEDAR TERRACE DRIVE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLOWING FOR A 9, 750 SQUARE FOOT EXPANSION TO THE WEST OF THE EXISTING BUILDING FOR ADDITIONAL INDUSTRIAL SPACE AS WELL AS OFFICE EXPANSION IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "C-1, C-Z" Conditional Zoning District for property generally located at 3533 Cedar Terrace Drive for the purpose of allowing for a 9, 750 square foot expansion to the west of the existing building for additional industrial space as well as office expansion, legally described as follows : Unplatted Waterloo West, part of the South of the Southeast of Section 7 Township 88 Range 12 beginning at the intersection of the West line of said Southeast and the Northeasterly right-of-way line of City Road #258, thence North 174 . 33 feet along said West line, thence South 84 Degrees 54 Minutes 49 Seconds East 176. 92 feet, thence North 99. 84 feet, thence East 124 . 57 feet, . thence South 481 . 73 feet to the right-of- way line of said City Road #258, thence North 53 Degrees 25 Minutes 02 Seconds West along said right-of- way line to the point of beginning and easement, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 19, 2006, at 5 : 30 p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site plan amendment should be approved as proposed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "C-1, C-Z" Conditional Zoning District for property generally located at 3533 Cedar Terrace Drive for the purpose of allowing for a 9, 750 square foot expansion to the west of the existing building for additional industrial space as well as office expansion, be and the same is hereby approved.
