Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
hall-;meetL'at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Ybwa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 21' day of February, 2005, for the
purpose "af considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell
and convey";property generally located at the southeast corner of
the - i:nte,rs-ection of Shopper' s Boulevard and San Marnan Drive,
j::ust,. iort_haof the Rex Retail Store to Lockard Development, Inc. ,
and legally described as follows :
That part of the Northwest 1-4, Section 10-88-13 (A part
of the vacated East San Marnan Drive) lying North of
and adjacent to Lot 1, Anderson' s Fourth Addition, City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows :
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence
North 01°16' 36" East a distance of 50 . 00 feet; thence
South 88°43' 24" East a distance of 236. 00 feet; thence
South 01°16' 36" West a distance of 50 . 00 feet to the
Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence North 88°43' 24"
West along the North line of said Lot 1 a distance of
236. 00 feet to the point of beginning, subject to the
city' s retention of utilities easement over, under and
above the above described property.
The North line of said Lot 1 is assumed to bear North
88°43' 24" West, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
for $1 . 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
