RESOLUTION NO. 2021-250
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO WILSON CUSTOM TREE
OF CRESCO, IOWA, AT AN ESTIMATED YEARLY COST OF
$31,410, AND APPROVING THE CONTACT, BOND AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2021 WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT LIFT
STATIONS MOWING CONTACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree of Cresco, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$31,410, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the FY 2021 Waste Water Treatment
Plant and Lift Stations Mowing Contract, and
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2021-249, after public hearing on April 19, 2021, in conjunction the FY 2021
Waste Water Treatment Plant and Lift Stations Mowing Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Wilson Custom Tree, in the amount of $31,410, in conjunction
with the FY 2021 Waste Water Treatment Plant and Lift Stations Mowing Contract, is hereby
awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Wilson Custom
Tree, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Waste Water Treatment Plant and Lift Stations
Mowing Contract, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2021-249, after public hearing on April 19, 2021 on published notice
required by law, are hereby accepted and approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April 2021.
