RESOLUTION NO. 2021-240
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM K. CUNNINGHAM
CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. FROM APRIL 12 - OCTOBER 31,
2021, FROM 7:00 P.M. TO 7:00 A.M. IN CONJUNCTION WITH
SAW CUTTING OF PCC PAVING ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE
FROM EVERGREEN AVENUE TO KNOLL AVENUE.
WHEREAS, K. Cunningham Construction Co., Inc., is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance from April 12 - October 31, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in conjunction with
saw cutting of PCC Paving on University Avenue from Evergreen Avenue to Knoll Avenue, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of K. Cunningham Construction Co., Inc. for a variance to
the Noise Ordinance from April 12 - October 31, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in
conjunction with saw cutting of PCC Paving on University Avenue from Evergreen Avenue to
Knoll Avenue, be granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April 2021.
