RESOLUTION NO. 2021-241
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR WORK PERFORMED
BY MUNICIPAL PIPE TOOL CO., LLC, OF HUDSON, IOWA
AND RELEASE OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$38,509.69, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2020 CIP
PIPELINING PHASE IVA, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO
YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe Tool Co., LLC, of Hudson, performed work in conjunction
with the FY 2020 CIP Pipelining Phase IVA, and
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe Tool Co., LLC, has completed the aforementioned project,
in accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by
Council April 13, 2020, Resolution No. 2020-253, at a total cost of $773,193.83 and retainage in
the amount of $38,509.69.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Municipal Pipe Tool Co., LLC, at a total cost of $773,193.83, in
conjunction with the FY 2020 CIP Pipelining Phase IVA, and release of retainage in the amount
of $38,509.69, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of April 2021.
