RESOLUTION NO. 2021-243
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 13, 2021, AND PUBLIC
HEARING AS MAY 17, 2021, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FIVE SULLIVAN BROTHERS CONVENTION CENTER 2ND
FLOOR RENOVATION PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center 2nd Floor Renovation Project,
are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers
Convention Center 2nd Floor Renovation Project, be scheduled for May 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of May 2021, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center 2nd
Floor Renovation Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
