Yes, ethics training is a requirement for all NAHRO Certifications. Note there is not an ethics exam. The requirements
for NAHRO Certified Specialist of Inspection-Housing Quality Standards(CSI-HQS) professional certification include:
1. Training and/or experience (your NAHRO HQS training satisfies this requirement)
2. Success on the NAHRO HQS Certification Exam
3. Ethics Training. NAHRO's Ethics for Specialists(next offered June 16, 2021) and NAHRO's Ethics for
Management(next offered May 26, 2021) satisfy the requirement.
a. The 2.5 hour ethics trainings are available online and are$295. Registration is available at
www.nahro.org/training
4. Submission of application (attached) including pledging to adhere to the NAHRO Code of Professional Conduct.
Upon approval of the application you will achieve the NAHRO Certified Specialist of Inspection-Housing Quality
Standards (CSI-HQS) certification and receive:
• Access to and ability to download and share your digital NAHRO Certification certificate
• Listing on the public record listing of persons NAHRO Certified at www.nahro.org/certification
• Authorization to use the NAHRO Certification designation (CSI-HQS) in your communications.
Please advise if you would like documentation of success on the NAHRO HQS Certification Exam. We can provide a
NAHRO transcript noting such as appropriate.
