RESOLUTION APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING WITH IOWA NORTHLAND REGIONAL
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR PREPARATION OF A
REVITALIZE IOWA'S SOUND ECONOMY (RISE) GRANT
APPLICATION FOR THE 11TH STREET BRIDGE
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Memorandum of Understanding dated May 5, 2021, between 1NRCOG and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, in an amount not to exceed, $2,000, for grant writing services related to the
writing, preparation, and submittal of a RISE grant to be used for the 11th Street Bridge
Reconstruction Project, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute
said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May 2021.
