RESOLUTION NO. 2021-266
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUPPORT OF THE PROPOSAL TO
TRANSFER BUDGET AUTHORITY FROM MULTIPLE
HUD PROJECTS IN IOWA TO EXCEPTIONAL PERSONS, INC. FOR
PROVISION OF HOUSING ASSISTANCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the proposal to transfer the budget authority from another HUD project
previously operating in Iowa to Exceptional Persons, Inc. has been presented to the Waterloo
City Council, and
WHEREAS, the Council understands the transfer will result in reactivation of HUD
assistance to approximately fourteen (14) people of low-income and very low-income throughout
the Waterloo, Iowa area.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Waterloo City Council supports the proposal
