RESOLUTION NO. 2021-267
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS MAY 20, 2021, AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS JUNE 7, 2021, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2021 YOUNG ARENA SOUTHEAST AND
SOUTHWEST ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 1040, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction
with the FY 2021 Young Arena Southeast and Southwest Roof Replacement Project, Contract
No. 1040, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Young Arena
Southeast and Southwest Roof Replacement Project, Contract No. 1040, be scheduled for May
20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of June 2021, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Young Arena Southeast and Southwest Roof
Replacement Project, Contract No. 1040.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
