RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT FOR THE GRANT
AWARD BETWEEN WATERLOO HOUSING TRUST FUND 8 AND
THE CITY OF WATERLOO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,267 FOR REPAIRS TO
EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY OWNER OCCUPIED HOMES, OF
WHICH $5,500 OF THIS AWARD MUST BE SPENT ON
HOUSEHOLDS AT OR BELOW 30% OF AREA MEDIAN INCOME
OR LOWER, AND AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the contract for grant award dated May 17, 2021 between the Waterloo Housing Trust Fund
8 and the City of Waterloo Community Development Department, in the amount of $28,267 for
repairs to existing single family owner occupied homes, of which $5,500 of this award must be
spent on households at or below 30% of Area Median Income or lower, and authorizing the
Community Development Director to execute said document.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May 2021.
