RESOLUTION APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING WITH IOWA NORTHLAND REGIONAL
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR PREPARATION OF A
COVID-19 RELIEF RECREATIONAL TRAILS
PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE
REPLACEMENT OF THE CEDAR PRAIRIE TRAIL BRIDGE,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Memorandum of Understanding dated May 17, 2021, between 1NRCOG and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, in an amount not to exceed, $2,000, for grant writing services related to the
writing, preparation, and submittal of a COVID-19 Relief Recreational Trails Program grant
application for the replacement of the Cedar Prairie Trail Bridge, and the Mayor is authorized
and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May 2021.
