AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED
TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, TO APPROVING A REQUEST BY
CEDAR VALLEY CORPORATION, LLC, FOR A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR A TEMPORARY CEMENT BATCH
PLANT TO BE LOCATED ACROSS FROM 4342
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE IN THE "B-P" BUSINESS PARK
DISTRICT, WITH A CONDITION THAT THE PROJECT BE
COMPLETED BY OCTOBER 31, 2021.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the request by Cedar Valley Corporation, LLC, for a Site Plan
Amendment for a temporary cement batch plant to be located across from 4342 Ansborough
Avenue in the "B-P" Business Park District, with a condition that the project be completed by
October 31, 202, and legally described as follows:
THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 AND THE NORTH 1/2 OF
THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP
88 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST OF THE 5TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, CITY
OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY IOWA, EXCEPT ROAD.
shall be and is hereby approved.
