RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM CROSSROADS
COMMUNITY CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY
CELEBRATION EVENT, TO BE HELD IN THE CHURCH
PARKING LOT LOCATED AT 3622 HAMMOND AVENUE,
ON JUNE 13, 2021 FROM 9:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M., INCLUDING
MUSIC AND THE USE OF A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Crossroads Community Church Of The Nazarene is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on June 13, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., in conjunction with the 40th
Anniversary Celebration event, in the church parking lot located at 3622 Hammond Avenue, and
a live band with the use of a PA system until 9:30 p.m., and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Crossroads Community Church Of The Nazarene, for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 13, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., in conjunction
with the 40th Anniversary Celebration event, in the church parking lot located at 3622 Hammond
Avenue, be and the same is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of June 2021.
