RESOLUTION NO. 2021-383
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM DANIELLE EASTMAN, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE AYA DANCING IN THE PARK
EVENT, TO BE HELD AT VALLEY VIEW PARK ON 6/4, 7/2,
7/23, 8/13 AND 9/3, 2021 FROM 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.,
INCLUDING MUSIC AND THE USE OF A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Danielle Eastman is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 6,
July 2, 2021 and July 23, 2021, August 13, 2021 and September 3, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. — 7:00
p.m., in conjunction with the Aya Dancing in the Park event, to be held at Valley View Park,
including music and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Danielle Eastman, for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on June 6, July 2, and July 23, 2021, August 13, 2021 and September 3, 2021, from
6:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Aya Dancing in the Park event, to be held at
Valley View Park, be and the same is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of June 2021.
