RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
H HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF
'' - CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY TO THOMAS MOUNT AS APRIL
25, 2005, AT 5 :30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
:_- CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :

Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa _?t 5 : 30 p.m. on the 25th day of April , 2005, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and
convey a 25' x 635' portion of city right-of-way generally located
south of 1304 Bishop Avenue to Thomas Mount, and legally described
as follows :
At 'twenty-five (25) foot strip of land referred to in
Land Deed Book 84 Page 208 as reserved for highway
puirposes, described as : the South twenty-five (25)
feet of the East six hundred thirty-five (635) feet of
tie West six hundred sixty (660) feet (40 rods) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE 1/) of the Northwest Quarter (NW
1/) of Section No. Twenty-nine (29) , Township No.
Eighty-nine (89) , North, Range No. Twelve (12) , West,
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $3 , 000 . 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of April, 2005 .
