RESOLUTION NO. 2005-397
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MIKE MEYER
FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "R-3 ,R-P"
PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF SOUTHLAND
DRIVE AND SERGEANT ROAD FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSTRUCTING A NEW 6, 000 SQUARE FOOT
PROFESSIONAL OFFICE BUILDING FOR GOVERNMENT
USE IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "R-3 ,R-P"
Planned Residence District for property generally located at the
corner of Southland Drive and Sergeant Road for the purpose of
constructing a new 6 , 000 square foot professional office building
for government use, legally described as follows :
Southland Park Third Addition Lot C-4, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 9, 2005, at 5 : 30
p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "R-3 ,R-
P" Planned Residence District for property generally located at
the corner of Southland Drive and Sergeant Road for the purpose
of constructing a new 6, 000 square foot professional office
building for government use .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of May, 2005 .
