HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON AMENDMENTS TO WATERLOO
ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS

THE CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.

- ' WHEREAS, THE Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
' meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo for the

purpose of considering and acting upon amendment to Waterloo
Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, as it pertains
to definition of a strip development or strip mall and allowing
division of such development onto separate lots with diverse
ownership, and creating a provision in the Outdoor Advertising
Signs and Billboards section limiting the size and location of
freestanding signage on such developments, together with
recommendation of approval of Planning, Programming and Zoning
Commission, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 2005 .
