;•0 =, -7 PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

WHEREAS, Waterloo Public Library, 415 Commercial Street, is
holding a Battle of the Bands for Teenagers at the Public Library
5'atking lot, 415 Commercial Street on June 18, 2005 from 6 : 00 p.m.
(.1 to 10 : 00 p.m. , and

N WHEREAS, said Battle of the Bands for Teenagers will exceed
the limits of the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and

WHEREAS, said Waterloo Public Library has made formal
application for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
on June 18, 2005 from 6 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Waterloo Public Library, 415
Commercial Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, in conjunction with having a Battle of the Bands for
Teenagers at the Public Library parking lot, 415 Commercial
Street, on June 18, 2005 from 6 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. , be and the
same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 2005 .
