s RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF COVENANT

- MEDICAL CENTER FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
- J v ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

WHEREAS, Covenant Medical Center, 3421 West 9th Street, is
holding a grand opening event at the parking garage and parking
lot of their new building, including a local band, on June 17,
L 2005 from 6 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 00 p.m. , and
WHEREAS, said grand opening event will exceed the limits of
the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and

n o WHEREAS, said Covenant Medical Center has made formal
application for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
on 'June 17, 2005 from 6 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 00 p.m.
= NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Covenant Medical Center, 3421
West 9th Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise
Ordinance, in conjunction with holding a grand opening event at
the parking garage and parking lot of their new building,
including a local band, on June 17, 2005 from 6 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 00
p.m. , be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 2005 .
