- Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall-meet .at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa_ at
_ 5_: 30 p.m. on the 18th day of July, 2005, for the purpose
_ of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey
p-ropett-y` generally located between 1903 Lafayette Street and
1919-l921 Lafayette Street for construction of a one or two
family home at an estimated value of $120, 000 . 00 to Shelter
Construction dba Three Kids & A Dog, LLC, and legally described
as fol] ws :
Cowin and Welsteads Plat of Outlots, that part of Lot 9
commencing at a point on the Southwesterly line of Lot 9 that
is 70 feet Southeasterly of the Southwesterly corner of the
Northeasterly 75 feet to a point 38 feet West and 155 feet
South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 9 thence East 38
feet to the East line of Lot 9 thence South along the East
line to the most Southerly corner of Lot 9 thence
Northwesterly along the Southerly line of Lot 9 to beginning.
Also, Corwin and Welsteads Plat of Outlots, the West 40 feet
of Lot 10 except the North 176 feet, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $1. 00, plus costs.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
