RESOLUTION NO. 2005-586
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF THE BOYS/GIRLS
` -� CLUB OF BLACK HAWK COUNTY FOR VARIANCE TO
NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .
WHEREAS, the Boys/Girls Club of Black Hawk County, is holding
an- open run event on July 7, 2005 from 4 : 30 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. to
beheld at Byrnes Park with a DJ to recruit players for the Street
Ball Invasion to be held at Young Arena on July 8 , 2005, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Boys/Girls Club of Black Hawk County has made
formal application for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, on July 7, 2005 from 4 : 30 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of the Boys/Girls Club of Black
Hawk County, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, in conjunction with holding an open run event on July
-7,. 2005 from 4 : 30 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. to be held at Byrnes Park
with a DJ to recruit players for the Street Ball Invasion to be
held at Young Arena on July 8, 2005, be and the same hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July, 2005 .
