RESOLUTION NO. 2005-724
RESOLUTION AP"ROVING MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO ' HE "S-1" SHOPPING CENTER
DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT
2450 CROSSROADS BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a Minor Site Plan Amendment to the
"S-1" Shopping Center District for property generally located at
2450 Crossroads Boulevard, legally described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo West a parcel of land in Northeast
Fractional 141 and Southeast Ili Section 2 Township 88
Range 13 described as commencing at intersection
Southwesterly line Highway 218 with East line Section 2
thence Northwesterly along said Southwesterly right-of-
way line 494 . 43 feet thence Southwest 425 feet thence
Southeast 442 . 31 feet thence Southeasterly along a
curve concave Southwesterly 290 . 43 feet thence South
370 . 45 feet thence Southwesterly along a curve concave
Northwesterly 535 . 32 feet thence Southwest 246. 41 feet
thence Southwesterly along a curve concave
Northwesterly 93 . 79 feet to the point of beginning
thence Northwest 400 . 68 feet thence Northwesterly
319 . 06 feet thence Southeast 28 . 98 feet thence
Southeasterly along a curve concave Southwesterly
193 . 62 feet thence South 173 . 25 feet thence East 285 . 03
feet thence Northeast along a curve concave
Northwesterly 196. 64 feet to beginning Parcel D, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa .
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said Minor Site
Plan Amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said Minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Minor Site Plan Amendment to the
"S-1" Shopping Center District for property generally located at
2450 Crossroads Boulevard, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 2005, and
approved by the Mayor this 10th day of August, 2005 .
