�-; 7 RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MCGILL
v _ RESTORATION, INC. OF OMAHA, NEBRASKA, FOR THE
EAST AND WEST FIFTH STREET PARKING RAMPS DECK
WATERPROOFING, IN THE AMOUNT OF $79, 489 . 00 .

H s WHEREAS, on November 1, 2004, the Waterloo City Council
,z, aopted Resolution No. 2004-754 accepting the bid from McGill
"'Restoration, Inc. of Omaha, Nebraska in the amount of $75, 489. 00
w for_ the construction of the West and East Fifth Street Parking
Ramps Deck Waterproofing Project, and
WHEREAS, said award of contract in the amount of $75, 489. 00
_was an incorrect amount due to a typo in documentation presented
Ito the City Council, and
WHEREAS, in order to award said contract to McGill
,Restoration, Inc. of Omaha, Nebraska for the correct amount, a new
resolution needs to be approved by the Waterloo City Council .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
-,WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of McGill Restoration, Inc. of Omaha, Nebraska,
in _the amount of $79, 489. 00, for the construction of the West and
flEast Fifth Street Parking Ramps Deck Waterproofing Project,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 2005 .
