RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF JIM KINNEY FOR
VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NO.

WHEREAS, Jim Kinney is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 11, 2005 from 10 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. in
~ Conjunction with a fundraiser to be held in Lincoln Park for
: ictims of Hurricane Katrina, including ten or more bands,
; amplifiers, microphone systems, etc. , and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Jim Kinney has made formal application for a
variance effective September 11, 2005 from 10 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Jim Kinney for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on September 11, 2005 from
= 10 : 00 a.m. to 10: 00 p.m. in conjunction with a fundraiser to be
=' held in Lincoln Park for victims of Hurricane Katrina, including
ten or more bands, amplifiers, microphone systems, etc. , be and
the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2005.
