RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
v HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF ISLE OF CAPRI FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet LifT the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
-Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 19th day of September, 2005,
-for=;thej purpose of considering the request of Isle of Capri for a
--ire_ plan amendment to the "C-P" Planned Commercial District for
,development of the casino site and legally described as follows:
Ye Southwest of Section 12, Township 88 North, Range
-- 1 - West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Black Hawk
=„ ;Go-linty, Iowa.
c. ; kbso, unplatted Waterloo West that part of the
Northwest 1,1 of the Southeast 1,1 of Section 12 Township
-88- Range 13 lying within the following described;
commencing at the West corner of said Section 12,
thence South 1315 . 29 feet along the West line of the
Southwest 1,11 of said Section 12, thence East 60 feet to
the point of beginning, thence continuing East 1260 . 35
feet along an existing fence, thence continuing along
said fence East 1320 . 35 feet, thence continuing along
said fence East 661 . 85 feet to the Westerly right-of-
way line of Relocated Primary Road US Hwy 218, thence
North 43 degrees 25 minutes 30 seconds West 506. 11 feet
along said right-of-way line, thence North 43 degrees
32 minutes 20 seconds West 1034 . 07 feet along said
right-of-way line, thence North 41 degrees 18 minutes
36 seconds West 256. 03 feet along said right-of-way
line to the North line of the Southwest i of said
Section 12, thence West 2015. 31 feet along said North
line to the Easterly right-of-way line of Hess Road,
thence South 1315 . 68 feet along said Easterly right-of-
way line to the point of beginning, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
