RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF R & B ENTERPRISES LTD CORP. FOR A SITE
PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "M-2, P" PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF HOME
MANUFACTURING PLANT ON PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED BETWEEN NEWELL STREET AND MARTIN
LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE IN THE NORTHEAST
INDUSTRIAL PARK, AS SEPTEMBER 26, 2005, AT
5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 26th day of September, 2005,
for the purpose of considering the request of R & B Enterprises
LTD Corp. for a site plan amendment to the "M-2, P" Planned
Industrial District for the construction of a home manufacturing
plant on property generally located between Newell Street and
Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the Northeast Industrial Park and
legally described_ as follows:
A part of the NW 1,1 of Section 20-89-12, Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Northeast
Industrial Park Plat No. 1, Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa; thence N 20°33' 41" W along the Southerly
R-O-W line of Newell Street a distance of 18 . 19 feet;
thence N 89°44' 01" W along the Southerly R-O-W line of
Newell Street a distance of 1451 . 32 feet to the East
line of the West 194 . 40 feet of the NW i, NW 3.1 of said
Section 20; thence S 00°20' 19" E along the East line of
