RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF IOWA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

s , s WHEREAS, Iowa Department of Transportation is performing
work within the city limits of the City of Waterloo in
orijunction with milling on University Avenue to remove the bumps

'? = WHEREAS, said company' s operations exceed the limits of the
lio- se Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said company has made formal application for a
variance effective October 19-28, 2005, up to twenty-four hours
der day.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Iowa Department of
Transportation for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
ordinance be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 2005 .
