RESOLUTION NO. 2005-949
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO DENNIS E.
AND CAMILLE S. HOGAN FOR A WAIVER FOR A
CONCRETE DRIVEWAY TO BE LOCATED AT 549 SUNSET
ROAD, AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF A
CONCRETE DRIVEWAY USING A SPECIAL SURFACE
TEXTURE (BRICK STAMPED PATTERN) ON THE
CONCRETE APPROACH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made written application to
the City Council asking that Dennis E. and Camille S. Hogan be
authorized and permitted to construct a concrete driveway and
authorizing construction of a concrete driveway with special
surface texture (brick stamped pattern) to be used on the concrete
approach to be located at 549 Sunset Road, and legally described
as follows:
Prospect Hills Addition Lot 157, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is
hereby granted to Dennis E. and Camille S. Hogan to construct a
concrete driveway subject to the following conditions:
1 . Work to be performed by an approved and bonded
contractor.
2 . A permit is to be obtained from the office of the City
Engineer prior to construction.
3. All work shall be performed under the supervision of
the City Engineer and at no cost to the City of
Waterloo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk County
Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a
matter of official County Record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of October, 2005.
