RESOLUTION NO. 2005-1031
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, SUPPORTING CENTRAL STATES
DEVELOPMENT FOR LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX
CREDIT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa has been informed by
Central States Development that a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit
Application will be filed with the Iowa Finance Authority for
the rehabilitation of Heritage Homes at 1306 W. Donald Street,
510 Oak Avenue & 154 Argyle Street, 65 Conger Street, 314 Logan
Avenue & 205 Argyle Street, 412-422 Dane Street and 1408-1416
Washington Street, Waterloo, Iowa with a legal description as
follows :
Unplatted Waterloo East, the East 247 . 32 feet of the
West 407 . 32 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 10 Township 89 Range 13
lying Southwesterly of Railroad, except the South 233
feet of the West 162 feet and except highway,
And
Morris Case Addition, Lot 25, Lot 26 except the East 42
feet of the South 19 feet, Lot 27 except the East 42
feet and except the South 6 feet, Lot 28 except the
South 6 feet, Lot 29 except the South 6 feet,
And
Auditor Rainbows Plat No. 4 of Waterloo; part of Lots
43, 44 and 45, commencing at a point on the West line of

WHEREAS, the Ownership Entity has requested local assistance
' through a tax abatement and HOME funds .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
C-ITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that we support and approve the
`development of the aforesaid housing in our community, subject
-- to city ordinances and the building permit process . This
:, resolution is effective until December 31, 2006. In the event
-that any of the characteristics mentioned above should change
prior to the issuance of a building permit, this resolution is
null and void.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November, 2005 .
