J U. S . DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT (HUD) AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID APPLICATION BY MAYOR.

s BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
• Sthat the Application dated November 21, 2005, for FY06 Economic
�Dvelopment Initiative Special Purpose Grant funds in the amount
-of $198, 400 . 00, with no required local match, to be used for
R= -acquisition and demolition in the Rath and/or Chamberlain
_B `ownfields Area, by and between the U. S. Department of Housing
4 1and Urban Development (HUD) , and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
eXecute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 2005 .
