RESOLUTION NO. 2004-462
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO ORLIS E.
SMITH TO PLACE ASPHALT IN THE AREA BETWEEN
THE BACK OF THE CURB AND THE SIDEWALK AT 180
WEST 11TH STREET FOR BEAUTIFICATION AND/OR
MAINTENANCE PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made written application to
the City Council asking that Orlis E. Smith be authorized and
permitted to place asphalt in the area between the back of the
curb and the sidewalk at 180 West llth Street for beautification
and/or maintenance purposes, and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that permission is hereby granted to Orlis E.
Smith to place asphalt in the area between the back of the curb
and the sidewalk at 180 West llth Street for beautification and/or
maintenance purposes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 2004 .
