w H WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had the parcel
cribed herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,

n WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel
inecessary to carry out EDA Rath Area Redevelopment Project .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcel
hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
t4a, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black
qvc County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and
O1 Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in
klf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to
00 summate the agreement to purchase the property from the owners
taikereof, and the deed for the conveyance of the same are also
acpted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay
for the property and the incidental expenses necessary to the
consummation of the sale from City funds .
The subject parcel is :
2525 Lafayette Street
Cost of demolition will be incurred by the City of Waterloo
in exchange for the property.
Keith W. and Nancy L. Weise, Owners
Blowers Addition, Lots 9, 10 , and 11, Block 14, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
