RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN

H WHEREAS, the Cityof Waterloo, Iowa, has had the� cparcel
escribed herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,

n , WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel
u.s necessary to carry out EDA Rath Area Redevelopment Project .

H H NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
'CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcel
,Thereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo,
'Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black
rHawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and
CCity Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in
behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to
;consummate the agreement to purchase the property from the owners
`thereof, and the deed for the conveyance of the same are also
accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay
for the property and the incidental expenses necessary to the
consummation of the sale from City funds .
The subject parcel is :
615 Fowler Street
Cost of demolition will be incurred by the City of Waterloo
in exchange for the property.
Jimmy C. and Brinda K. Robinson, Owners
Zollingers Addition, Lot 10, Block 2 , all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 2004 .
