RESOLUTION NO. 2004-359
RESOLUTION APPROVING SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO
THE "S-1" SHOPPING DISTRICT FOR KWIK TRIP
CORPORATION FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT
324 FLETCHER AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 63 FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ADDING TWO AUTOMATIC CARWASH BAYS
IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "S-1"
Shopping District for Kwik Trip Corporation for property
generally located at 324 Fletcher Avenue and Highway 63 for the
purpose of adding two automatic carwash bays, and legally
described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo West part of Northeast Southwest
Section 27 Township 89 Range 13 described as commencing
at a point 30 feet West and 263 . 7 feet North of
Southeast corner Northeast Southwest said Section
thence West 200 feet thence North 92 . 85 feet thence
Northeasterly along Southeasterly right-of-way U. S .
Highway 63 a distance of 221 . 22 feet thence
Southeasterly at right angle 45 . 08 feet thence South
200 feet to point of beginning. Unplatted Waterloo
West East 435 feet Northeast Southwest Section 27
Township 89 Range 13 lying South of Highway 63 except
streets and except North 110 feet South 140 feet West
145 feet East 175 feet and except beginning at a point
30 feet West and 263 . 7 feet North or Southeast corner
Northeast Southwest said Section thence West 200 feet
thence North 92 . 85 feet thence Northeasterly along
Southeasterly right-of-way Highway 63 a distance of
221 . 22 feet thence Southeasterly at right angle 45 . 08
feet thence South 200 feet to beginning and easement,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 7, 2004, at 5 :30
p.m. , at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "S-1"
Shopping District for Kwik Trip Corporation for property
generally located at 324 Fletcher Avenue and Highway 63 for the
purpose of adding two automatic carwash bays, be and the same is
hereby approved.
