RESOLUTION NO. 2021-445
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO
ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $14,470 PER VEHICLE, AND APPROVING
THE CONTRACT FOR THE FYE 22 POLICE VEHICLE
EQUIPMENT NEEDS, AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Electronic Engineering of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid in the amount of
$14,470 per vehicle, in conjunction with the FYE 22 Police vehicle equipment needs, and is the
apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Electronic Engineering submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2021-444, after public hearing on June 21, 2021, in conjunction with the FYE 22
Police vehicle equipment needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Electronic Engineering, in the amount of $14,470 per vehicle, in
conjunction with the FYE 22 Police vehicle equipment needs, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract submitted by Electronic Engineering in conjunction with the FYE 22
Police vehicle equipment needs is hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
