RESOLUTION NO. 2021-437
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MIDWEST CONCRETE, INC.,
OF PEOSTA, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $241,807.26, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO REGIONAL
AIRPORT, WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE I,
CONTRACT NO. 1033, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-
YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Midwest Concrete, Inc., of Peosta, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the Waterloo Regional Airport, Water Main Improvements - Phase I, Contract No. 1033,
and
WHEREAS, Midwest Concrete, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
September 14, 2020, Resolution No. 2020-702, at a total cost of $241,807.26.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Midwest Concrete, Inc., at a total cost of $241,807.26, in
conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport, Water Main Improvements - Phase I, Contract
No. 1033, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June 2021.
