RESOLUTION NO. 2021-441
RESOLUTION APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR A
TEN-YEAR PERIOD WITH THE OPTION FOR TWO (2) FIVE-
YEAR RENEWALS, WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF
NORTHERN IOWA, TO LEASE 800 SYCAMORE STREET
FOR THE CENTER FOR URBAN EDUCATION (UNICUE),
WITH A LEASE AMOUNT PER MONTH OF $6,035.08, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the lease agreement for a ten-year period with the option for two (2) five-year renewals, with
the University of Northern Iowa, to lease 800 Sycamore Street for the Center for Urban
Education (UNICUE), with a lease amount per month of $6,035.08, is hereby approved and the
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the
City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June 2021.
