RESOLUTION NO. 2021-443
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO PLUMB
TECH, INC., OF WATERLOOS IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$105,968 APPROVING CONTRACT, BONDS, AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Plumb Tech, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid in the amount of
$312,862.50, in conjunction with the Ridgeway Towers Boiler Replacement Project, Contract
No. 2021-1, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Plumb Tech, Inc., submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2021-442, after public hearing on June 21, 2021, in conjunction with the
Ridgeway Towers Boiler Replacement Project, Contract No. 2021-1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Plumb Tech, Inc., in the amount of $312,862.50, in conjunction with
the Ridgeway Towers Boiler Replacement Project, Contract No. 2021-1, is hereby
awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Plumb Tech, Inc., in
conjunction with the Ridgeway Towers Boiler Replacement Project, Contract No. 2021-1,
are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June 2021.
