-+ <1 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
at after public hearing on May 17, 2004 , notice having been
as required by law, it is deemed necessary and advisable
t(-' the sidewalks and/or portions of sidewalks for an area known

o :17- 1_1The repair of said improvement will be the responsibility of
01:,6 ',bwner of property abutting the sidewalk so designated by the
cit Engineer as needing repair.

Said work shall be completed by the owner of the property
abutting said improvement by July 2 , 2004 , or with evidence of a
676 tract to have the work completed by a bonded contractor,
together with a 25% down payment . The City of Waterloo will
contract any work not completed by the property owner, and an
accurate itemized account of all the costs and expenses thereof
shall be made to this Council upon completion of said work. The
cost and expense to the City of Waterloo for making said
improvement will be assessed, as provided by law, as a special
tax against all property abutting sidewalks and/or portions
thereof so improved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 2004 .
