RESOLUTION NO. 2004-252
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF CITY OF
WATERLOO TO REZONE FROM "U-1" UNCLASSIFIED
DISTRICT TO "M-2 , P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF
RIDGEWAY AVENUE AND WEST OF MARTIN ROAD, AS
MAY 3 , 2004 , AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 3rd day of May, 2004, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon an application of City of
Waterloo to rezone from "U-1" Unclassified District to "M-2, P"
Planned Industrial District property generally located north of
Ridgeway Avenue and west of Martin Road for the purpose of
constructing a 36, 000 square foot facility, and legally described
as follows :
Southeast 1/ of the Southeast % except the Easterly 330
feet of Section 32 , Township 89, Range 13
And,
Part of the Northeast 1/ of the Southeast % of Section
32 , Township 89, Range 13 beginning at the Southwest
corner of the Northeast 1/ of the Southeast 1/ of said
section thence Easterly 990 feet thence Northerly 675
feet along part of the East line of the Westerly 990
feet of the Northeast 1/ of the Southeast % of said
section thence Southwesterly to point of beginning
And,
Part of the Southeast 1/ of Section 32, Township 89,
Range 13 beginning at a point 420 feet South of the
Northeast corner of the Northeast 1/ of the Southeast IA
of said section thence Southerly to the Southeast
corner of said section thence Westerly 330 feet thence
Northerly 1, 995 feet thence Northeasterly to point of
beginning except commencing at a point on the East line
of Section 32 which is 1, 180 . 5 feet North of the
Southeast corner of said section thence Westerly 200
feet thence Northerly 200 feet thence Easterly 200 feet
thence Southerly 200 feet to point of beginning, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
