RESOLUTION NO. 2021-464
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM REV. ANTHONY J. KRUSE,
ON BEHALF OF BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROCK THE LOT WITH JOHN
ANGOTTI EVENT, TO BE HELD AT 650 STEPHAN AVENUE
AND SURROUNDING STREETS, ON JULY 17, 2021, FROM
6:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M., INCLUDING LIVE MUSIC AND THE
USE OF A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Rev. Anthony J. Kruse, on behalf Of Blessed Sacrament Church is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., in
conjunction with the Rock The Lot with John Angotti event, to be held at 650 Stephan Avenue
and surrounding Streets, including live music with the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Rev. Anthony J. Kruse, on behalf Of Blessed
Sacrament Church, for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30
p.m., in conjunction with the Rock The Lot with John Angotti event, to be held at 650 Stephan
Avenue and surrounding Streets, including live music with the use of a PA system, be and the
same is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July 2021.
