RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF OMEGA
CABINETS, LTD. TO REZONE FROM "A-1"
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "M-1" LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED WEST OF BURTON AVENUE AND SOUTH OF
AIRLINE HIGHWAY TO DEVELOP A 200-STALL
PARKING LOT FOR EMPLOYEES AND AN ACCESS FOR
TRUCKS OFF BURTON AVENUE, AS MARCH 15, 2004 ,
AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 15th day of March, 2004 , for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Omega Cabinets, Ltd. to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District
to "M-1" Light Industrial District property generally located
west of Burton Avenue and south of Airline Highway to develop a
200-stall parking lot for employees and an access for trucks off
Burton Avenue, legally described as follows :
All that part of the Northeast 1% of the Southeast IA of
the Northeast 14 lying North of the Westerly extension
of the South line of the Burton Avenue Industrial Park
(lying in the Northwest 14 of Section 11-T89N-R13W) ,
except the North 320 feet of the East 318 feet thereof,
AND
The East of the Northwest 14 of the Southeast 14 of the
Northeast %,
All the above lying in Section 10, Township 89 North,
Range 13 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
(Contains 9 acres more or less . )
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 2004 .
