RESOLUTION NO. 2004-503
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO DUANE A.
WIDEN FOR A WAIVER FOR A ROCK FIELD ENTRANCE
TO BE LOCATED AT 3041 RANCHERO ROAD, AND
AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF A ROCK FIELD
ENTRANCE ON CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY ON AN
UNIMPROVED STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made written application to
the City Council asking that Duane A. Widen be authorized and
permitted to construct a rock field entrance on City right-of-way
on an unimproved street to be located at 3041 Ranchero Road, and
legally described as follows :
Commencing at Northwest corner Northwest Section 7
thence East 24 rods South 66 rods West 24 rods North
66 rods to beginning Section 7 Township 88 Range 13,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is
hereby granted to Duane A. Widen to construct a rock field
entrance subject to the following conditions :
1 . Work to be performed by an approved and bonded
contractor.
2 . A permit is to be obtained from the office of the City
Engineer prior to construction.
3 . All work shall be performed under the supervision of
the City Engineer and at no cost to the City of
Waterloo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk
County Auditor for filing in order that this said action may
become a matter of official County Record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 2004 .
